Your Robocall and Spam Attorneys

Protecting You From Harassment

If you get annoying spam from scam companies, telemarketing sales calls, or texts trying to sell you fraudulent insurance, we can help. There are laws to protect you from the constant harassment, even though many people don’t realize that there is a way to stop the spam. The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) restricts the making of telemarketing calls and the use of automatic telephone dialing systems and artificial or prerecorded voice messages. Our LawZebra attorneys work with the existing laws and regulations to help you find peace from the constant annoyance of telemarketers and spammers.

Contact LawZebra online or give us a call at (801) 820-9955 for a free consultation. We work on contingency, so we don’t get paid unless you get paid.

You Have Rights

Telemarketers and spammers interrupt the flow of your daily life. Don’t let their illegal actions cause you to just give up and accept the harassment. Contact us to find out more about your rights.

TCPA rules require telemarketers to:

  • Obtain prior express written consent from consumers before robocalling them,
  • No longer allow telemarketers to use an “established business relationship” to avoid getting consent from consumers when their home phones, and
  • Provide an automated, interactive “opt-out” mechanism during each robocall so consumers can immediately tell the telemarketer to stop calling.
  • Not call you before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m.
  • Not make threats of legal action against you
  • Not Contact you if you are on the National Do Not Call Registry
  • Pay fines for each phone call, fax, or text message violation
